In 2018 the Parish of San Giovanni Battista created the project "La Vite e i Tralci". The aim of this project is that to give dignity to all those people who have social or economic difficulties. That is possible through their involvement in activities of maintenance of green areas (also with internships). In 2020, with the authorisation of the Bologna Diocese, the production and distribution of the Mass wine "Gocce di Cana" began; in accordance with the Code of Canon Law, both cultivation and vinification follow natural methods.

Now we are also involved in what is the procss of recovery of old vineyards, regenerating mother plants and giving life to new and energetic shoots. In this process the gricultural activity is transformed into a "social" activity with a main aim: restoring hope.

We think that even the rehabilitation of an old vineyard can create an "added value", which is that of walking together with fragile people, with the intention of regenerating them.
