The sacred furnishings are objects of worship that represent the sacredness and the solemnity; of the celebration, used during religious ceremonies. Among the most representative are the monstrance, the chalice, the paten and the pyx, made of chiseled or gilded brass.
Among the different furnishings present in a Christian place of worship, there are: the tabernacle, the candlesticks, the thuribles, the bells and cruets , furnishings for churches present during liturgical commemorations. All of these sacred furniture and church furnishings constitute a visible and tangible element of religious ceremonial.
