The religious cross: symbol of faith and devotion
Religious articles depicting the cross are widespread in different sizes and materials. Wall and table crosses are among the most common and used as sacred home ornaments.
The former are usually hung so as to be visible to all, and can be used for personal prayer, for meditation or for the protection of the house. There are also wall crosses specific to certain religious events or also be used as cemetery crosses.
Table crosses, on the other hand, are placed on furniture or shelves and are designed to be arranged on a flat surface, such as a desk or bedside table,they are equipped with a base that holds them upright and can be customized with engravings or special messages.
The most used metals for the production of crosses are silver, gold, bronze and brass. Each metal has its own unique characteristics and can be used to create a wide variety of styles and designs.

Crosses and crucifix: what you need to know
The cross represents the symbol of the Christian faith: the image of Jesus Christ himself crucified on the cross. The latter is therefore a more specific and detailed representation of the cross, which can also include other elements such as the figure of the Our Lady and the Saints.
While the wooden sacred cross can be used to decorate churches and places of worship, the crucifix is often placed on the altar or in other prominent places within churches.
