Fortified wine for the Holy Mass - Rosso

Through a family tradition that lasts longer longer than 70 years, our red Holy Mass is produced "ex gemini vitis", as required in the Catholic Law, under the strict regular controls of Mazara del Vallo Diocese liturgical Office, that authorizes us to market it. Until 1880 no other wines, except for the red one, were admitted, due to its symbolical value of “Christ’s blood”. It is born from autochthonous Wester Sicily vines and it is a relatively sweet fortified wine, distinguishable for its full-body. The fortification makes it perfectly adapt for a long storage, particularly when it is stored not over 25°C temperature.
