Our Lady did not pray the rosary, but meditated on all that related to the mysterious work of God in her life, all the salvific works she witnessed. The cult of praying the rosary was born with Our Lady's apparition to St. Dominic: "I hasten to help you; behold, I will teach you a prayer that will improve people. On the larger rosaries say the 'Our Father', on the small ones say the 'Hail Mary', but it is not enough to repeat the prayer with your lips, you must still reflect on the events of my Son's life, think about him."
The modern veneration of Our Lady of the Rosary is associated with the apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Fatima. One of the messages given during the apparitions was a request for constant prayer of the rosary. Saint John Paul II was a special advocate of this seemingly simple but unique prayer: "Our heart is capable of weaving into the tens of the rosary all the events that make up the life of the individual, the family, the nation, the Church and humanity. Our hearts can weave into the decades of the rosary all the events that make up the life of the individual, the family, the nation, the Church and humanity. In this way, this simple prayer of the Rosary pulses with the rhythm of human life."
The statue was carved by hand from a single block of marble. It depicts the praying Mother of God with a rosary in her hand. Her feet are surrounded by roses. Repeating after John Paul II, "In the mysteries of the rosary, Mary prays with us."
All the sculptures of this company are entirely handmade and made of marble by artists for whom sculpting is a lifelong passion. The process of carving is constantly supervised in order to make sure that the sculptures imitate as closely as possible the original works of art or designs planned by clients. The results are simply stunning.
All the sculptures are impregnated, and therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor display. They are a perfect element of luxurious interiors and gardens.
