Statue Saint Therese

St. Therese
Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, born in Alençon, France, was a barefoot Carmelite nun. She was an influential model of holiness for Catholics and had a practical and simple way of approaching the spiritual life.
Teresa was devoted to the Child Jesus, to whom she dedicated many writings, poetry and prayers.
The Carmelite saint, even with a contemplative life, became the patroness of the missions and doctor of the Church.
He died very young, on September 30, 1897, at just 24 years old, a victim of tuberculosis.
Saint Teresinha's day is celebrated on October 1st.

"The only way to prove my love is to spread flowers and these flowers are every little sacrifice, every look, every word and every little act of love."
