Statue Saint Lucy

Resin
St. Lucy
Saint Lucia, also known as Saint Lucia of Syracuse, was born around the year 280 in Italy. She was a very beautiful young woman and very devoted to Christ.
Her Christian faith led to her being persecuted and tortured. The soldiers of the governor of Syracuse gouged out his eyes and handed them to him on a plate, but, miraculously, he had two beautiful eyes, more perfect than the previous ones. Revolted by the miracle, the soldiers beheaded her.
Santa Luzia is recognized as the Saint of vision.
